Smile Like You Mean It

The Killers.
Hot Fuss was all I ever listened to in seventh grade. Brandon Flowers is my inspiration,
and then my brother took a bunch of my cds with him to EFY and traded away my Hot Fuss for The Decemberists' Picaresque.
Devastation. but then a little less when I fell in love with The Decemberists.

But the Killers have been a great love of mine since then, and Hot Fuss will always be my favorite  Killers album.

Kayla requested a Killers cover and I couldn't have agreed more.

Excellent. So here are my latest requests. Some of these can be for Kam too. ;)

I'm linking you to the lyrics 'cause I intentionally found songs by these bands that wouldn't have curse words or topics you wouldn't feel comfortable singing about.

"Somewhere in the Between" by Streetlight Manifesto

"Thrash Unreal" by Against Me!
A suggestion for their one curse word. Line reads: "This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over." Could try something like, "This night is gonna end when we're sure well ready for it to be over." I think going for things like "darn" in substitution for the actual swear word shows a lack of creativity.

AND

"The Never Played Symphonies" by Morrissey
Pressure's on as this is my God. But I'm counting on you to make this song ten times more depressing than it already is.
